Enter your record so far and the credits ahead. The tool projects your cumulative GPA at a chosen future average, and tells you the average a target would actually require — including when it exceeds the scale.
Projected = (GPA₀ × credits₀ + GPA₁ × credits₁) ÷ (credits₀ + credits₁)
Quality points, not GPAs, are what add together. This is why the projection moves so little when the credits behind you outnumber the credits ahead.

Repeat and grade-replacement policies can change this materially, in your favour. Check whether your institution replaces rather than averages a retaken grade before concluding a target is unreachable.
With 90 credits at 2.8 and 30 to go, a perfect 4.0 finish lands at 3.1 — the old credits outvote the new ones three to one. This is not discouraging so much as clarifying: it tells you whether the honest plan is a higher target, an extra term, or a retake under a replacement policy. The one thing it rules out is assuming a strong final year is enough.
If the number is not the part you are stuck on, that is what the service is for — a specialist who explains the working, not just the answer.
Grade point values, rounding rules and academic standing thresholds are set by your institution and vary widely. Nothing here is an official record of your standing.
