Privacy policy

What we know about you, and what we do with it.

Written to be read, not to be survived. The short version is at the top; the clauses that follow say the same things in the detail a policy needs. No cookie theatre, no data brokerage, no contact with your university — ever.

The short version
01Two people see your brief: your academic manager and the assigned specialist.
02We never sell, rent or trade personal data. There is no advertising business here.
03We never contact your institution, tutor or supervisor for any reason.
04Card details never touch our servers — payment processors handle them.
05Ask us to delete your files and we do it within 30 days, no reason needed.

Four things we will never do.

These are not aspirations. If we break one of them, you are entitled to a full refund and deletion of everything we hold.

NEVER · 01

Sell or share your data

No brokers, no ad networks, no "trusted partners" clause hiding a marketplace.

NEVER · 02

Contact your institution

Not your tutor, not your supervisor, not your registrar. Under no circumstances.

NEVER · 03

Resell your work

Your delivered work never enters a database, sample library or resale catalogue.

NEVER · 04

Store your card details

Payments go straight to PCI-DSS processors. We see the last four digits, nothing more.

What we hold

Every category of data, why we have it, how long we keep it.

We do not collect special-category data (health, religion, political opinion, biometrics) and ask you not to include it in a brief. If a brief requires it as subject matter — a nursing case study, for example — it is treated as coursework content, not as data about you.

Confidentiality

Your brief travels through two people.

Not a public listing, not a bidding pool, not a broadcast to a hundred freelancers. Access is granted per brief and revoked when the job closes.

Specialists work under signed confidentiality agreements and see only the brief itself — never your name, email, phone number or payment details.

SEES ALLYour academic manager. Named, one person, owns the brief end to end. Contact details, brief, delivery history.
BRIEF ONLYThe assigned specialist. Task, rubric and files. No identity, no contact details, no payment data.
WORK ONLYThe QA reviewer. The draft and the rubric, anonymised. They do not know whose work it is.
NOTHINGEveryone else. Other specialists, other students, marketing, and any third party not listed in the processors table.
ON ORDERA court. Only where a valid legal order compels it, and we will tell you unless legally barred from doing so.
Third parties

The complete list of processors. There is no sixth.

Each is contracted as a processor, not a partner, and may use your data only to deliver the function named.

Payment processing

Card and wallet transactions, PCI-DSS certified.

Data: last four digits, amount, country

Cloud hosting

Encrypted file and database storage, EU and US regions.

Data: all account and brief data, encrypted

Live chat & email

Support conversations and transactional notifications.

Data: name, email, message content

Originality scanning

Similarity checks on drafts before release.

Data: the draft text only, no identity, not indexed

Error monitoring

Diagnosing site faults so the form does not lose your brief.

Data: IP, browser, error trace — 30 days

No ad networks

We run no advertising trackers, no pixels and no cross-site profiling. Nothing about you is retargeted.

Cookies

Three cookies. You can switch off the one that is optional.

There is no consent wall on this site because there is almost nothing to consent to. The two essential cookies keep you logged in and keep the form from losing your work.

Free of charge, no reason required, and never a condition of service. We may keep transaction records where tax law requires it — that exception is stated in the retention table above.

Make a data request

Goes straight to the data protection lead. You get a written acknowledgement the same day.

What do you want us to do?

We verify identity before acting on deletion or export — usually by replying from the address on file.

Security, transfers and breach handling.

Encryption

TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest. Files are stored separately from account records.

Access control

Per-brief permissions, revoked on close. Staff access is logged and reviewed quarterly.

International transfers

Standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the UK and EEA, with encryption throughout.

If there is a breach

Regulator notified within 72 hours; you are told directly if your data is affected, in plain language.

Children and age

The service is for students aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and will delete it on discovery. Where local law sets a higher age of digital consent, that age applies instead.

Questions about your data go to one person.

privacy@legitassignmenthelp.com reaches the data protection lead directly — not a support queue. You may also complain to your national data protection authority at any time, without going through us first.
